On 6 of November 2021, decree-law no. 152/2021 was published in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic in order to implement some of the most significant objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This decree law and the support measures in favour of the tourism sector have already been discussed in a previous contribution published on our website.

Following the publication, by the Ministry of Tourism, of the Notice of 23.12.2021 and of the Interministerial Decree of 28.12.2021 containing the application procedures for the disbursement of the incentives set forth, respectively, by Art. 1 (tax credit and non-repayable contribution) and by Art. 3 (i.e. direct contribution to expenditure) of Decree-Law No. 152/2021, the Ministry of Tourism made available, on 4.2.2022, the list of expenses that may be eligible for tax credit and non-repayable contribution, subsequently supplemented on 11.2.2022.

On 18.2.2022, the Ministry of Tourism published a further Notice containing, specifically, the application procedures for accessing the online platform through which it will be possible for tourism enterprises to submit their applications to obtain the tax credit and the non-repayable contribution.

The mentioned platform will be managed, on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism, by Invitalia – National Agency for Inward Investment and Economic Development, which has published today on its website the facsimile of the application that can be submitted by companies that are interested from 28.2.2022 to 30.3.2022, together with the guide to its compilation and presentation.

Please note that the applications received from interested companies will be examined in chronological order of arrival and at the end of the examination a ranking of the admitted applications will be published.
